Angels500: #1 (Angie) by RG Pettit

My friend Frank Giovingo started Angels500 in New Orleans recently. He paints original pieces and donates them to children and adults who were battling cancer. His dream evolved into an arts community project. He recruited me and a few others, and it really began to take shape, as we recruited more artists. He eventually wants to create a foundation, and serve others cities besides New Orleans. That is the power of love and the power of art!!!

I've donated paintings to causes in the past, but this is so much more personal, because the painting itself will affect the individual recipient directly.
